Nicolae Iorga exhibition at the National Library until July 15

The exhibition entitled "History of the Romanian people in the research of Nicolae Iorga", 155 years after the birth of the great historian and scholar of Romania, can be seen at the National Library of the Republic of Moldova.
The exhibition highlights the historical significance of the great scholar Nicolae Iorga, showcasing his scientific, cultural, and philosophical contributions to the advancement of Romanian society.
Visitors can explore over 130 documents, including rare editions and manuscript facsimiles, monographs, biographical works, albums, collections of articles, and serial publications. These items are organized into six sections: Nicolae Iorga – The Man and The Era, Nicolae Iorga and the Study of Romanian History, Bassarabia in Iorga’s Research, The Role of Romanians in Universal History, Nicolae Iorga and His Literary Activity and Romanian Personalities in Iorga’s Work
The exhibition features volumes authored by Nicolae Iorga, published over various periods, according to the National Library. The exhibition is open until July 5.
Nicolae Iorga had an exceptional scholarly career, authoring over 1,000 volumes, 12,755 articles and studies, and 4,963 reviews. His most significant work culminated in the "History of the Romanians," a ten-volume series that earned him recognition as one of the greatest historians and scholars in Romania's history.
In addition to his writing, Nicolae Iorga created three historical magazines, regularly contributed to several literary journals, ran a newspaper for 33 years, founded three institutes, and undertook educational reforms while serving as prime minister.
