Moldova issues Israel security alert after Iranian strikes

The Moldovan Embassy in Israel issued an urgent security alert for its citizens following a massive Iranian missile and drone barrage.
The warning comes as Israel's Home Front Command updated its safety guidelines, enforcing strict public restrictions valid until Monday at 22:00.
Emergency security measures
Under the new directives, all educational activities across Israel are entirely suspended.
Public gatherings are limited to a maximum of 200 people outdoors and 500 people indoors.
Citizens are permitted to attend work and public events exclusively in locations with immediate access to standard reinforced shelters.
Regional escalation
The Home Front Command continues to monitor the situation continuously and will adjust security protocols based on ongoing developments.
The Iranian bombardment on Sunday night marks a significant escalation in regional hostilities. Tehran warned that these strikes are merely the beginning, vowing to launch attacks "day and night" for the next seven days.
Meanwhile, Israel has initiated retaliatory strikes against Iranian targets. The Iranian state broadcaster, IRIB, reported that multiple explosions have already been heard in Tehran, Tabriz, and Isfahan.
