Investment improves access to a religious and tourist site in Șoldănești district

The access road to the "Saint Hierarch Nicholas" Monastery in Dobrușa village, Șoldănești district, will be constructed with funding from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development.

During the on-site assessment, preliminary technical solutions were evaluated, and discussions took place regarding the arrangement of the access infrastructure for a significant religious and tourist site in the region.
The contract for design services was signed at the end of April 2026, with a total value of 188,599.20 lei.
The design company is tasked with developing the necessary technical documentation to enhance access and comfort for visitors. This includes improvements to the access road and parking area, and the construction of a sanitary block for the tourist site of national interest. The project is expected to be completed within three months.

The technical documentation is scheduled for completion at the beginning of August. After that, the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Centru will begin the public procurement process to select a contractor to construct and arrange the access road to the monastery in Dobrușa.
According to ADR Centru, this project aims to enhance access to the site, increase the area's tourist appeal, and promote the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Republic of Moldova. It will provide better conditions for pilgrims and visitors alike.
This project is funded by the National Fund for Regional and Local Development and is being implemented by ADR Centru in collaboration with local public authorities and representatives from the religious community.
