Illegal entry into Moldova: Indian citizen receives five-year entry ban

Officers from the General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM) escorted a 25-year-old Indian citizen out of the Republic of Moldova. He had entered the country illegally in an attempt to reach Romania.
The Moldovan authorities have returned him to his country of origin. Following this violation, he has been banned from entering the Republic of Moldova for 5 years.
Additionally, on June 26, two other Indian citizens, aged 26 and 30, were removed from the country for violating residence regulations after failing to leave the Republic of Moldova upon the expiration of their legal stay.
The General Inspectorate for Migration warns that any foreign citizen who attempts to cross or illegally crosses the state border, as well as those who violate residence regulations in Moldova, will face forced return measures in accordance with current legislation.
