The complete application file for the competition must be submitted in a sealed envelope, along with a signed list of the submitted documents, to the company’s headquarters on working days between 08:30 and 12:00 and 13:00 and 16:30. The deadline for submission is July 20 at 16:00.
Energocom is a state-owned enterprise serving as the central supplier in the electricity and natural gas markets. The company purchases electricity on the market from renewable energy plants recognized as eligible producers, as well as from thermal power plants, and resells it to suppliers at prices regulated by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE).
Starting September 1, 2025, Energocom will officially assume the role of natural gas supplier to final consumers under a public service obligation, following a decision made by ANRE.
The competition has been initiated to appoint a general manager with full mandate authority. Eugeniu Buzatu has been serving as the company’s interim general manager since December 13, 2024, when he was appointed by the Energocom Board after the termination of his predecessor, Victor Bînzari's, management contract.
