AC Milan completes record-breaking signing of Goncalo Ramos

AC Milan has finalized the acquisition of Portuguese forward Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €74 million (approx. 1.44 billion MDL). The striker has committed to a five-year contract with the Italian club.

Ramos began his career at Benfica, recording 41 goals and 12 assists in 106 appearances, securing one domestic league title. Following his move to Paris Saint-Germain in August 2023, the 23-year-old made 131 appearances, contributing 45 goals and 10 assists.

The transition to Serie A follows a period of limited playing time in France, where Ramos sought a more prominent role. AC Milan officials prioritize this addition to bolster the squad’s offensive depth for their upcoming European campaign.

Internationally, Ramos has tallied 10 goals in 26 appearances for Portugal. He is currently representing his nation at the World Cup, where Portugal is scheduled to face Croatia in the round of 32.
