Foreign ambassadors accredited in our country sent good wishes to Moldovans on Easter holidays
Representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Chisinau came with congratulatory messages for Moldovans on the occasion of Easter holidays. They wished people happy holidays, joy and peace.
In a post on social media, EU Ambassador to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks and his team wrote that at Easter, we return to the importance of values such as compassion, love and solidarity. The diplomats wished Moldovans peace, joy and hope.
At the same time, they expressed their solidarity with the people of our country in this time of challenges and uncertainties.
"The European Union stands by the Republic of Moldova and will continue to support it for a better and safer future," the diplomatic representation's post said.
The diplomatic mission of the United States of America, accredited in our country, also sent a congratulatory message.
"Happy Easter! We wish everyone celebrating a blessed and happy day with family and friends. May this day be filled with peace, hope and joy," the officials wrote.
Our neighbours, the Ukrainian and Romanian diplomats, were also keen to send a message to Moldovan citizens.
In addition to the traditional "Happy Easter", the officials noted that the feast of the faithful unites us in a common prayer for the victory of light over darkness, love over hate and truth over lawlessness.
