Ukraine targets Crimea power grid in systematic drone strikes

Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces have disabled 16 power nodes in annexed Crimea within a 48-hour period. Commander Robert Brovdi stated the operation aims to dismantle the infrastructure supporting Russian military presence on the peninsula.

Strategic impact on Russian logistics
The targeted strikes have caused widespread power outages, affecting water supply and communications in cities such as Yevpatoria and Saki. These actions are designed to cause logistical failures and fuel shortages, isolating Russian military forces.
Broader military context
Since July 1, specialized units have disabled a total of 37 energy nodes in occupied territories. Concurrently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on the Gvardeiskoe military airfield and various ammunition depots in the region.
