The Wimbledon final will feature an all-Czech showdown between Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova. Both players secured their spots in Saturday’s championship match, marking a historic moment for Czech tennis.

Muchova reached the final after a grueling battle against Cori Gauff. After a dominant opening set and a second-set deficit, Muchova secured a dramatic tiebreak victory, clinching the match 12-10 in the final set.

“It was absolute madness,” Muchova reflected. “You are one point away from defeat and, ten seconds later, you have a match point. The emotions are overwhelming.”

In the second semifinal, Linda Noskova maintained consistent momentum to defeat Ukrainian Marta Kostiuk 6-4, 6-4. Noskova praised her opponent’s character ahead of their clash. “Karolina is a fierce competitor and an incredible player, but above all, a wonderful person,” she stated.

The champion will earn €4.2 million (approx. 82 million MDL), while the runner-up will receive €2.1 million (approx. 41 million MDL). The final takes place this Saturday.
