Volodymyr Zelensky proposes replacing Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko will resign after less than a year in office. President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a cabinet reshuffle aimed at overhauling Kyiv's domestic and foreign policy priorities.
"I have found that these changes necessitate a renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers. I am grateful for his clear, stable, and effective work as Prime Minister," Zelensky stated while announcing what he referred to as an "updated political strategy."
"I expect that, together with the deputies, we will implement the necessary changes in the Government of Ukraine," Zelensky added, noting that the reshuffle will also include changes among the heads of law enforcement agencies.
Zelensky mentioned that Ukraine will appoint senior officials to oversee key areas of foreign policy, including relations with the United States, the European Union, Poland, Hungary, China, and the Middle East. He emphasized the need to intensify efforts related to arms supplies, drone production, winter preparations, and post-war reconstruction, as reported by TVPWorld.
Sviridenko, 39, was appointed Prime Minister last July after establishing a reputation as one of Zelensky’s most trusted economic officials. As Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, she played a vital role in negotiating a historic deal between the United States and Ukraine on rare earth minerals, which was signed in May last year. This deal helped restore relations with Washington following a public disagreement between Zelensky and former President Donald Trump.
