Premier Energy outlines rules for bill recalculations

Residents absent from their homes for at least 15 consecutive days can request a recalculation of their unmetered shared utility bills, provided they follow strict statutory procedures. The announcement was made by Premier Energy, the largest electricity provider in the Republic of Moldova.

According to the company, apartment owners must notify their building manager in writing prior to departure. Upon returning, residents must present official documentation proving that all occupants were absent for the entire declared period.

Key deadlines and requirements

The formal recalculation request must be submitted within 15 days of returning home. Failure to meet this deadline results in the forfeiture of the right to claim adjustments for that timeframe.

For extended absences, Premier Energy notes that supporting documentation must be submitted periodically to maintain eligibility for ongoing recalculations.

Additionally, the supplier emphasized that recalculations for shared elevator electricity costs apply exclusively when all registered occupants have been absent for the full requested period.
