The Republic of Moldova to send Ukraine another consignment of humanitarian aid

Another humanitarian consignment for Ukraine. The Republic of Moldova is to send the neighbouring country tents, hygiene products and technical equipment worth more than 15 million lei.

The humanitarian aid consignment also includes food, power generators and other equipment. The goods will be donated from the funds of the Material Reserve Agency and the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. More than 160,000 lei will be allocated to transport the consignment.

A decision to this effect is to be approved at the next meeting of the Executive.

In early February, the Government also sent a humanitarian consignment worth about 17 million lei to Ukraine.

The action was carried out on the basis of a decision of the Commission for Exceptional Situations in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
