The most expensive gift is the porcelain figurine given to her by the President of the Polish Senate, and it costs more than six thousand lei.
In January, President Sandu met a delegation of Polish MPs and the Senate Marshal Tomasz Grodzki. The officials discussed regional security and economic cooperation, and other high-level meetings with Polish officials were to follow. Tomasz Grodzki presented Maia Sandu with two porcelain dancers, worth 6,150 lei.
From the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Maia Sandu received a silver brooch costing six thousand lei.
Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă presented President Sandu with a handmade glass vase in the style of Émile Gallé, market value 5,900 lei.
