Latvian FM Baiba Braze to visit Moldova for EU integration talks
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže will pay a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on August 3–4, following an official announcement by Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 2.
During her visit to Chișinău, Latvia's top diplomat is scheduled to meet with Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi.
She will also be received by President Maia Sandu and government leadership. High-level discussions will focus on expanding bilateral cooperation, advancing Moldova’s European integration agenda, and strengthening regional partnerships.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit underscores the excellent diplomatic relations between Chișinău and Riga. It highlights Latvia's continued backing for Moldova’s democratic reforms and its path toward European Union membership.
