Nearly 20 million lei for works in Central Park in Straseni

Revitalization efforts for the "Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt" central park in the municipality of Strașeni are currently in full progress. The project encompasses the rehabilitation of pedestrian pathways, the modernization and expansion of the playground, the redevelopment of green spaces, and the enhancement of public infrastructure. The total investment for this project amounts to 19.8 million lei.

The Centru Regional Development Agency (Centru ADR) has announced that construction work is currently underway. In a press release, they stated, "Work is being done to demolish the existing pedestrian pathways, the old retaining wall, and the access stairs to the Lyceum grounds. Additionally, the lighting poles are being dismantled."
The dismantled lighting poles will be reinstalled once the rehabilitation and development of the park are completed.


The project aims to revitalize the park, transforming it into a modern and accessible public space for the residents and visitors of Straseni. According to ADR Centru, "Upon completion of the project, the residents and visitors of Straseni will benefit from a modern, safe, and accessible public space."
This initiative will involve the complete rehabilitation of seven pedestrian alleys, including those designed for people with disabilities. Additionally, the playground will be modernized and expanded, and the green spaces will be redeveloped.


The investment includes a modern irrigation system, a stormwater drainage network, a public toilet block, and a parking area.


The total value of the project is 19,807,591.85 lei. Out of this amount, 17,826,832.67 lei is allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development, while 1,980,759.18 lei represents the contribution from the Straseni City Hall and the Straseni District Council.
