Ukraine will receive new military aid from the US, focused on anti-aircraft systems against drones
The US will send Ukraine new military aid, worth $275 million and intended mainly to strengthen anti-aircraft defences, especially against drones, it was announced on Friday John Kirby, spokesman for the White House, reports Agerpres with reference to AFP.

Kirby said the US will also provide Ukraine with new artillery munitions, particularly missiles for HIMARS launchers, as well as powerful, high-precision artillery pieces mounted on light armoured vehicles.
This new package of military assistance brings to about $19.3 billion the military aid provided to Kiev by Washington since February 24, when the Russian aggression in Ukraine began.
Russian President Vladimir Putin assured on Thursday that the bombing of Ukraine's energy infrastructure would continue, adding that it was still retaliation for the October 8 attack on the Crimean bridge.
