"Urgent driving test appointments" are a new scam. ASP: 'Do not share personal data'
The Public Services Agency (ASP) is alerting citizens about a new fraudulent scheme that promises "urgent appointments" for driving tests, stressing that these services are illegal and unauthorized.
Recently, platforms like Instagram and TikTok have seen an increase in promotions for services offering "urgent scheduling" for driving tests, particularly through the account "programare.urgenta.md."
The Public Services Agency warns that those providing these services ask for payment and personal appointment details—such as the appointment code or link—claiming they can help secure available slots or reschedule the exam.
The Agency advises, "Do not share personal information or appointment details with strangers, and do not make payments to unofficial accounts."
Furthermore, citizens are encouraged to rely solely on the Agency's official website for accurate information. If someone contacts you promising appointments in exchange for payment, please report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
