European High Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič undertakes a working visit to the Republic of Moldova

The European High Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, is undertaking a working visit to the Republic of Moldova, where he will hold bilateral meetings with representatives of the Chisinau authorities, the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MAI) announces.

After the meeting with the Minister of Interior Ana Revenco, during which the European course of the Republic of Moldova in the EU Civil Protection Mechanism will be discussed, the officials will hold a briefing.

Ana Revenco and Janez Lenarčič will discuss the results achieved by the Republic of Moldova in terms of integration into the EU Civil Protection Mechanism and will provide details on the full integration of the country into the Mechanism, the main benefits of the Mechanism's membership for citizens and the state.
