The representative of the Republic of Moldova at Eurovision 2023, Pasha Parfeni, had a meeting with the president Maia Sandu, before flying with his team to Liverpool, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, where the music competition will take place. Maia Sandu wished him success and told him that the Moldovans will keep fingers crossed to reach the Grand Final.

"We wish Pasha Parfeni the best of luck before he leaves for Liverpool, UK, where he will represent our country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song 'Sun and Moon.' I told Pasha that all of us, in the country and in the diaspora, will be keeping our fingers crossed for him and watching his performance in the first semi-final, which will take place on May 9th, and we can't wait to see him in the Grand Final! Good luck, Pasha!", wrote Maia Sandu on a social network.

Pasha Parfeni will perform the song "Sun and Moon" in the first semi-final on May 9, under number 10, where he will compete alongside 14 other countries, including Serbia, Latvia, Portugal, Croatia and Sweden. The second semi-final will be on May 11, and the Grand Final of Eurovision will take place on May 13.

Recently, during a press conference, the singer Pasha Parfeni declared that the success of the Republic of Moldova at the Eurovision 2023 contest depends on the vote of every citizen from the diaspora.

We remind that traditionally, the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company will broadcast the final and the 2 semi-finals live both on Radio Moldova and on Moldova 1 TV, as well as on the institution's online platforms.
