Comparative energy data in bills

Starting this month, residential customers served by Premier Energy will find a new section on their electricity bills: comparative data designed to help them more easily track consumption trends and spot any variations.
According to Premier Energy, this section will present several pieces of information, including:
consumption billed for the current month, compared to that of the same month last year;
average reference consumption for the consumer's category (urban or rural);
consumption recorded in the month following the reference period of the previous year, along with the average value corresponding to that category.
This information will be displayed in a separate box on the bill, making it easier for consumers to compare data and see whether their consumption has decreased or increased relative to the same period last year.
The bill will also include recommendations for reducing energy consumption and using energy more efficiently within the household.
Premier Energy notes that consumers experiencing significant increases in consumption compared to the same period last year will also receive additional information and recommendations for rational energy use via email.
The company encourages consumers to monitor this data to identify potential consumption increases early on and, where possible, take steps to reduce both consumption and costs.
Premier Energy currently serves approximately 855,000 consumers in the central and southern regions of the Republic of Moldova, including the municipality of Chișinău.
