Moldovan and Polish police officers to conduct joint security exercises
A joint training exercise of Moldovan police officers together with Polish police employees will be held on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, during which a new style of exercises and special techniques, including helicopter, will be implemented. According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MAI) the joint exercise will take place for a week, starting Monday, May 1.
According to the source, the actions are aimed at increasing the efficiency of how actions/missions are prepared and carried out; assessing the level of preparedness of employees of the special-purpose police brigade "Lightning" of the General Inspectorate of Police; testing new tactics, techniques and procedures of action; as well as ensuring security and practicing actions in the context of the European Summit to be held in the Republic of Moldova - an event that requires a lot of professionalism.
The European Political Community Summit will take place on 1 June in Bulboaca in the Castel Mimi wine complex, President Maia Sandu told a press conference. The 50 heads of state and government who will attend the event will debate issues related to war and peace, the future of Europe - the future of the 750 million people working on the European continent. The future of the Republic of Moldova as a European state will also be discussed.
