Moldova ranks 14th globally for internet connectivity
The Republic of Moldova ranked 47th globally in terms of digital quality of life and 30th in Europe. Furthermore, the country holds the 14th position worldwide for internet connection quality, according to data from Digital Quality of Life.
Despite these achievements, the Republic of Moldova still has ground to cover in terms of technological development, ranking 77th in artificial intelligence and 83rd in digital infrastructure.
According to the same study, 73% of the population of the Republic of Moldova has access to the internet, placing the country 88th globally in this regard.
The Digital Quality of Life index evaluates the digital well-being of the population across five areas: internet quality and affordability, digital infrastructure, digital security, and the development of artificial intelligence.
This year, the ranking included 121 countries.
