AI has increased creation speed tenfold, experts
Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly common in education. It can help pupils and students understand information faster, organize their work, and prepare projects. However, to make the most of this technology, it is important to know which tool to use and why.
For a pupil or a student, artificial intelligence can be a reliable aid. It can explain information, provide ideas, or save time. However, the outcome depends on the question asked and the tool chosen.
"Artificial intelligence has managed to increase the speed of creation more than tenfold. This means that anyone who uses artificial intelligence becomes significantly more productive, allowing them to work much faster in their field. The time taken to go from an idea to a solution has been drastically reduced," noted IT specialist Dimitri Trubca on the Radio Moldova program "Zi de Zi" (Day by Day).
Nevertheless, the specialist adds that before using such a tool, one must also understand what each specific application can do. "You can use ChatGPT to create a personalized study plan; you simply need to provide details about your background in your prompt, and you will receive a response tailored to your specific experience. Another tool I’ve mentioned is NotebookLM. This tool allows us to study a wide range of topics and conduct research based on the sources we upload. Essentially, we can upload multiple sources and then interact with the resulting document, drawing specifically from the material provided. This significantly reduces the time required to learn a new subject; we can use this tool to acquire the necessary skills. A third tool is Perplexity—a conversational search engine that provides answers complete with citations. Even if the responses aren't always perfectly accurate, the inclusion of citations makes it very easy to verify the information," the IT specialist explained.
For young people, access to these technologies can open up new opportunities for learning and development. Communications manager Rodica Nicolenco highlighted the importance of having access to artificial intelligence. "Artificial intelligence, digital technology, and high-speed connectivity are here to support young people. What we truly value is the opportunity to provide everyone—free of charge—with the chance to learn and access technologies and knowledge. Such opportunities are, of course, very helpful. We are investing in digital education—specifically in the use of artificial intelligence—so that young people can discover their talents, receive career guidance, develop healthy habits, and leverage online resources to their own benefit," stated Rodica Nicolenco.
For pupils and students, artificial intelligence can be a valuable asset. The key is to use it not merely to get an answer, but to foster deeper understanding, support learning, and enable more efficient work.
