Stricter rules for the design and construction of gas stations. What are the restrictions imposed by the Government
Vehicle fueling stations will be prohibited near green spaces and water areas. Government approved, today, the Regulation that comes to improve the location requirements of fueling stations for vehicles with main petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gas and compressed natural gas.
Following the implementation of the Regulation, the environment and the health of the population will be protected, as the design, location and construction of vehicle fueling stations in the protection zones of water bodies, sources of drinking water, spas and sanatoriums, in urban green areas, on the territory of nature reserves and in their protection zones, in the protection zones of historical and cultural monuments, green spaces and in the sanitary protection zones of social institutions will be prohibited.
