On Europe Day, an exceptional concert will take place in Chisinau

"Together Stronger". This is the message of this year's Europe Day. On this occasion, the ambassador of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, Jānis Mažeiks, together with the band Zdob and Zdub, invites all citizens to visit the European City, which will take place on 13 May in Chisinau and on May 20 in Leova. European cuisine will be organised. Also, a series of cultural and interactive activities will be held, including for children.

The Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, Jānis Mažeiks, demonstrated his appreciation towards the Moldovan people, who stood by the people who fled the war.

*" The European Union has firmly expressed and demonstrated, over the years, through concrete actions, its solidarity with the Republic of Moldova. While in the neighboring country, Ukraine, Russia continues to commit atrocities, to destroy cities and villages, to kill peaceful people, Moldovans have shown unprecedented empathy and openness in sharing their home and meals with refugees from Ukraine," said Mažeiks.

The ambassador claims that the European town was built under the "aegis of solidarity for good and the future", and the surprises do not end there. Thus, in Chisinau on May 13, in the Great National Assembly Square, an exceptional concert will be held by the Ethno Orchestra Republic together with Marcel Ștefăneț, the opincuța ensemble Folk-Group, and the Zdob and Zdub band.

"Under the aegis of solidarity for good and the future, I invite you to visit the European City that will take place in Chisinau on May 13 and in Leova on May 20. And our surprise doesn't end there! Hello, we are the positive formula "Zdob and Zdub"! On May 13, Chisinau, Great National Assemblies Square and in the heart of Leova on May 20. We are waiting for you together we are stronger. Hey ho let's go!", declared the ambassador.

Europe Day will also be celebrated in Cahul, Ungheni and Balti. And this year, the European Film and Culture Festival will be organized in all localities of the Republic of Moldova, including villages and cities, between May 11-31.
