Eurovision Song Contest 2023 // Pasha Parfeni with the song "Sun and Moon" has qualified for the Final of the contest
Pasha Parfeni, Moldova's representative at Eurovision 2023, has qualified for the Grand Final of the music contest. In the first semi-final on 9 May, the song "Sun and Moon" placed 2nd out of 15 participating countries.
The countries that made it to the Eurovision 2023 Grand Final are: Croatia, Republic of Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia, Norway.
This year, according to changes in the voting procedure, contestants who advance to the final are chosen exclusively by public vote.
In the first semi-final held on 9 May, representatives from Norway, Malta, Serbia, Latvia, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, Switzerland, Israel, Republic of Moldova, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Kingdom of the Netherlands and Finland competed.
The city of Liverpool is hosting the 67th Eurovision Song Contest in honour of Ukraine, the winner of Eurovision 2022. The second semi-final will take place on Thursday 11 May and the final is scheduled for 13 May.
