Europe Day events are taking place today in the Great National Assembly Square. After a concert by ethno-rock band Zdob and Zdub , Marcel Ștefăneț & Ethno Republic, Opincuta Folk-Group, Satoshi and the Advahov Brothers, from 21:30, visitors will be able to watch the Eurovision Song Contest final, broadcast live from Liverpool, UK.
During the day, visitors will also learn about the history and traditions of European countries. In this context, road traffic is suspended on Stefan cel Mare cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, in the perimeter of Mitropolit G. Bănulescu - Bodoni and A. Pușkin str. during the day until May 15, 8:00 am.
The event will be covered by Moldova 1 in a special edition starting at 13:45.
On 20 May, the European Village will also open in Leova.
