The first edition of the diplomatic bazaar will take place in Brussels. Artists from Romania and Moldova will participate

Artists, creators, craftsmen and craftswomen from Romania and the Republic of Moldova will gather in Brussels on 13-15 May for the first edition of the Diplomatic Bazaar. They promote the concept of "slow movement", presenting unique, personalised products made in accordance with the principles of respect for the environment, natural cycles, biodiversity and authenticity, informs the Foreign Ministry in Chisinau.

"The first session of the event, organised this year in the Marble Hall of the Free University of Brussels, aims to promote established products and brands, handmade or semi-industrial and which are identified with the ingenuity and inventiveness of Romanian and Moldovan engineers and inventors," the institution says.

The Diplomatic Bazaar will bring together artists from the fields of music, fine arts, philosophy and literature - each of them will present their choices to fit in with a natural rhythm that respects the time of creation and highlights the quality of the raw materials and the finished product.

The fair will be open to representatives of the Romanian and Moldovan communities as well as to the general Belgian public.

The event is organised under the patronage of the Embassies of Romania and the Republic of Moldova in the Kingdom of Belgium.
