In November, the government compensated, on average per country, 49 percent of the volume of natural gas delivered to domestic consumers. The figure differs depending on the area and categories of consumers, explains the head of Moldovagaz, Vadim Ceban. According to him, the figure varies from 46 to 53 percent.
Vadim Ceban announced, in a message published on his Telegram account, that the total amount of compensation for domestic consumers was 357.89 million lei, out of the total amount of 731.86 million lei accumulated in payment. It should be noted that the Government offers, also this winter, compensation in the bill for energy consumption: natural gas, thermal energy and electricity, based on the categories of energy vulnerability of the family based on the request submitted and the ceiling set by the authorities. Compensations were included directly in the bill, starting in December, for November consumption. These will be offered during the cold period of the year, i.e. between November 2022 and March 2023. In order to benefit from energy compensation, Moldovans are urged to continue to register online on the government platform compensatii.gov.md.
