Tragedy in Străseni. A woman was hit by a train
A 61-year-old woman died after being she was hit by a train. The tragedy occurred yesterday around 10:00 p.m., near the town of Roșcani, Strășeni district. As a result of the impact, the woman suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.
According to the first information, the woman was crossing the railway irregularly, when the train, which was heading towards the city of Chisinau, hit her. Law enforcement officers are investigating the case.
