Maia Sandu urges development partners to continue supporting the states that follow a democratic path
The Moldovan authorities are determined to promote the country's development agenda in a responsible and transparent way, said President Maia Sandu at the Summit on effective cooperation for development, organized in Geneva.
During the Summit, the head of state urged international organizations and development partners to continue supporting the states that follow a democratic path and spoke about the need to better adapt external assistance to the increasingly complex needs of the world's states, including the Republic of Moldova . Maia Sandu also discussed the efforts of the Moldovan authorities to find solutions for the great challenges that our country has faced in recent years: the Covid-19 pandemic, the refugee crisis caused by Russia's war against Ukraine and the energy crisis.
