"Romania and the Republic of Moldova will be together again, in the European Union, in a community without borders, where we will be able to further build ties that can never again be questioned by anti-democratic forces in the East. The European path requires efforts, the reforms to be made require decisions, but at the end of the road we will be closer in a Union that offers the guarantee of peace and a real chance for development. Romania will be there to support the Republic of Moldova throughout this process and in achieving its objectives."
