Constitutional Court resumes the examination of the Government's referral regarding the constitutionality of the "Sor" Party
Today, the Constitutional Court resumes the examination of the referral through which the Government requested the verification of the constitutionality of the "Sor" political party. The meeting is scheduled for 10:00.
The examination of the referral, which began on May 10, was interrupted on May 17 to give the parties time to prepare their pleadings before the Constitutional Court.
According to the representatives of the Government, there are arguments that the formation acted in contradiction to the principles of the rule of law and endangers the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova.
The representatives of the political party reject the accusations, declaring that it is pressure exerted by the government.
