Speaking at the opening of the event, the Head of the Cabinet Office stressed that everything that can be done remotely, such as starting a business, can be simplified and accelerated through digitisation. Another important objective, according to the Prime Minister, is the digitisation of government processes, which will increase the transparency of decision-making.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean noted that over the past few years, the Republic of Moldova has made significant progress in the digitisation process, which brings a number of transformations and opportunities for society and the country's economy.

"Digitisation needs to dramatically reduce the cost of transactions and that means every readable experience needs to be digitised. It is important for the Government that digitisation brings more transparency. Not just more accountability for the Government, but also to make it easier for people to get involved in the work of the Government, in governance, in different processes," the Prime Minister said.

"The Government's priority is to automate processes and make them more efficient for citizens. Everything that can be done remotely should be done remotely - from starting a business, opening a bank account or signing an employment contract - everything can be simplified and speeded up through digitisation. What matters is that digitisation is centred on the citizen experience, providing transparency and quick access to the information and services needed. By digitising government services, we simplify administrative processes, reduce bureaucracy and improve the relationship between the state, citizens and business people," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The next three days, on the platform "Moldova Digital Summit" will take place sessions and discussions on the process of digital transformation of the Republic of Moldova.
