Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova, summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia
The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Russian Federation was summoned to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The information was confirmed for radiomoldova.md by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Igor Zaharov. For now, the cause and the topics discussed are not known.
We remind you that, last week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova urgently summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, requesting his rigorous explanations after the so-called pro-Russian governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, threatened that the Russians could blow up the Giurgiulesti bridge, in response to the Ukrainian attack on the Ciongar bridge, which connects Crimea with the Kherson region.
The ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova did not come at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In his place was sent the spokesman of the embassy, Anatoly Loshakov, who stated that at today's discussion with the authorities he presented some explanations.
