The municipal budget project, subject to public consultations. The areas where the most money will reach

Chisinau City Hall has estimated revenues of almost seven billion lei in 2023. Most of the expenses will be directed to social protection and education. The draft municipal budget has been published for the time being for consultations.

The municipality planned revenues of 6.79 billion lei. More than half of the money is transferred from the state budget. Expenses exceed revenues by approximately 500 million and amount to 7.34 billion lei.

For the road development program, the municipality allocates 840 million lei and for the development of transport - over 900 million. The largest share is represented by social expenses, approximately 66 percent.

For example, for health, the City Hall provided 75.8 million, for social protection - 622 million lei. For education, the municipality will spend over 3.8 billion lei. Approximately 440 million are intended for culture.

The municipal budget project is subject to public consultations until December 23.
