Flashmob at the Ministry of the Interior. The Coalition for Unity and Welfare seeks the resignation of Rosian Vasiloi and Ana Revenco
The Coalition for Unity and Welfare (CUB) party demanded, this morning, the resignation of the head of the Border Police, Rosian Vasiloi, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ana Revenco.
During a flashmob organized in front of the Ministry of the Interior, the president of the formation, Igor Munteanu, mentioned that the tragedy that happened on June 30 at the Chisinau International Airport is proof of the incompetence and neglect of the real risks by the two responsible for this field. Because of this, two employees of the law enforcement agencies died, and the attacker, a citizen of Tajikistan, being injured, later died. According to Igor Munteanu, after emergency situation was declared at the Airport, no security measures were taken.
Asked by Radio Moldova, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs mentioned that it would come back later with a reaction. The head of the Border Police, Rosian Vasiloi did not answer our phone call to give us a reaction.
