Holiday lights were lit at the Presidency. The institution opens its doors to visitors
The Presidency of the Republic of Moldova inaugurated the Christmas Tree on Monday evening, an event attended by all the institution's employees and their children. Thus, the presidential institution started the winter holidays. The head of state, Maia Sandu, announces that this year too, the Christmas Tree at the Presidency will be open to all people.
"On Monday evening, together with colleagues from the presidential administration and their children, we lit the lights of the Christmas tree at the Presidency, kicking off the winter holidays," the president of the country announced on her Facebook page. According to the post, carolers and Santa Claus came to the event, they prepared contests and surprises for small children. This year, carolers from the "Lucian Blaga" Lyceum in Chisinau wished the head of state and the employees of the presidential institution a prosperous new year. "All the children went home with gifts and in a good mood. The winter holidays remind us that, no matter how great the difficulties we are going through, we can overcome them together, with warmth and care towards each other", reads the message of President Maia Sandu. The Head of State announces, in the context, that this year too, the Christmas Tree at the Presidency will be open to all people. Thus, from today, December 20, until January 15, 2023, children and their parents can come to see the presidential tree and take pictures with it. On working days, visitors will have access to the building between 17:00 and 19:00, and on Saturday and Sunday - between 12:00 and 15:00.
