They demand an immediate meeting with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, urgent approval of the regulations on the allocation of wheat and barley compensation and the distribution of Romanian diesel. The authorities have not yet commented on the farmers' demands.

"Our demands are unfortunately the same: an immediate meeting with the Prime Minister, urgent approval of the regulations on the allocation of compensation, the distribution of diesel, which was promised back in June, the introduction of a moratorium at least for a few months on the payment of debts owed by micro, small and medium-sized producers to all creditors. And one more demand: farmers are losing a great deal because they have to wait 4-5 days at customs. We demand the creation of special customs corridors for the export of local cereals and oilseeds. If we are ignored again, the Farmers' Force Association will resume the protest from Monday," Alexandr Slusari, executive director of the Farmers' Force Association, told Moldova 1.
