Moldovan ambassadors meet in Chisinau to discuss foreign policy
Ambassadors of the Republic of Moldova are meeting in Chisinau to discuss issues related to the implementation of the country's foreign policy, the establishment of new tasks, and the enhancement of the efficiency of diplomatic missions.
The meeting, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, will be opened by President Maia Sandu and Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu.
During the meeting, which will take place on August 16-17, 2023, diplomats will also discuss issues related to the evolution of international relations in recent times, as well as Moldova's progress in the European Union accession process.
Another priority of the meeting, according to the Foreign Ministry, will be the problems faced by Moldovan citizens living abroad and ways to provide them with social protection.
The heads of diplomatic missions will also take part in the Diaspora Day and the Diaspora Business Forum.
