Hot weather in Moldova and Romania
Meteorologists have announced hot weather for Thursday, August 17, in Moldova. The maximum temperature will reach 36 degrees Celsius in the southern parts of the country. There will be no rain, and the wind will blow weakly from the northwest.
The State Hydrometeorological Service has announced hot weather for the coming period.
During the day, the air temperature will exceed 30 degrees Celsius. In the northern parts of the country, the maximum temperature will reach 31 degrees Celsius, in Chisinau it will be 34 degrees Celsius, and in the southern parts of the country it will be 36 degrees Celsius.
The wind will blow from the northeast, weakly to moderately.
The thermal regime will slightly increase with minimums at night between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius.
Hot weather in southeastern Romania
The Romanian National Meteorological Administration has announced hot weather and high thermal discomfort for the southeastern parts of the country.
In Bucharest, today it will be 37 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperatures will be 35 to 37 degrees, and the minimum temperatures will be 18 to 21 degrees.

Specialists warn that swimming in rivers and lakes with unknown relief and strong water currents can be fatal.
