Sandu to discuss infrastructure, EU accession in Netherlands, Romania
President Maia Sandu of Moldova will visit the Netherlands from September 4-5 to promote her country's membership in the European Union and bilateral economic relations. She will also meet with Moldovan citizens living in the Netherlands.
On September 6, Sandu will travel to Bucharest to attend the Three Seas Initiative Summit, where she will meet with heads of state and government from Central Europe to discuss investments in infrastructure projects that will connect Moldova to the EU.
Sandu said yesterday on Radio Moldova that she will make several more visits to EU countries by the end of the year to discuss with European partners and strengthen their political support for the start of accession negotiations.
