Moldova promotes business opportunities to German investors
Moldova's Prime Minister Dorin Recean has promoted the country's business opportunities to German investors at the Romanian-German Business Forum in Berlin.
Recean highlighted Moldova's strategic location, qualified workforce, and investment incentives as key attractions for foreign investors.
"Moldova is progressing towards EU accession," Recean said. "The European market is open to our country and we have recently concluded a free trade agreement with the EFTA countries. New investments in infrastructure and subsidies based on required skills are a clear invitation for the foreign business community."
Recean also pointed to Moldova's potential for growth in sectors such as renewable energy, agricultural industrialization, and road and rail infrastructure.
"I encourage you to explore the portfolio of investment opportunities in Moldova," Recean said. "The government is a reliable partner in the development of your business in our country."
Recean also met with members of the German-Eastern European Business Association in Berlin to discuss business opportunities in key sectors of the Moldovan economy and to boost trade relations between the two countries.
