Volodymyr Zelensky could pay a visit to Romania
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is expected to visit Romania on October 10, official sources told G4Media. However, the visit will not be officially confirmed until the last moment, as the war may change the plans of the leader from Kiev.
The quoted source also writes that Volodymyr Zelenski would come to Bucharest against the backdrop of Romania's constant support for Kiev in the grain crisis. If Poland, Hungary and Slovakia adopted tough positions towards grain imports from Ukraine, Bucharest constantly negotiated with Kiev and found a compromise solution.
In addition, Romania is heavily involved in the export of products from Ukraine on all possible routes: road, sea and river.
Presidents Volodymyr Zelenski and Klaus Iohannis also met on September 20 in New York, on the occasion of a UN meeting. The two heads of state also had a meeting on June 1, when they signed a joint declaration on Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
