The Vice-President of Bulgaria, Iliana Iotova, is on a working visit to the Republic of Moldova
The vice-president of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Iotova, is visiting the Republic of Moldova for two days, the Presidency announces. Today, Iliana Iotova will have a working lunch with the head of state, Maia Sandu.
At the same time, the agenda of the visit includes meetings with the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, the deputies who are part of the parliamentary friendship group with Bulgaria, and with the Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
On Wednesday, President Maia Sandu and Vice President Iliana Iotova will go to Taraclia, where they will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the monument to the national hero of Bulgaria, Vasil Levski. Likewise, they will visit the "Vasil Levski" multicultural youth center, where they will talk with students from four schools in the city of Taraclia.
Vice President Iotova's visit coincides with the marking of Bessarabian Bulgarians Day on October 29 and the Day of the National Enlightenment Leaders on November 1, when Bulgarians celebrate spirituality and national identity.
