The photovoltaic park from Criuleni produced, for one year, millions of kilowatts. How much money has reached the district budget from its activity
The country's energy security is also ensured by the local producers of green energy. Built with the support of the Chinese government, following an investment of over $4.3 million, the Criuleni Photovoltaic Park produced, over the course of a year, around four million kilowatts. All the energy produced is delivered to the national electricity grid. With a total capacity of 2.8 MW, this is the largest photovoltaic park in the country and covers an area of eight hectares.
"On the territory, we have 7,488 panels, 16 inverters, and three transformers. This energy covers a certain percentage in the situation created at the moment, the critical situation of energy in the market. It's a 100% gift, without our contribution, a gift from China," said Vasile Frunză, director of the Criuleni Photovoltaic Park.
The park's activity is managed by seven employees, and the energy produced is delivered to the national electricity grid.
"Although the maximum power of our park is 2.8 MW, we already have 3.9 MW produced. In the summer, we reach 18-20 even 21 thousand KW produced, when the sky is clear and the sun is shining", says Alexei Antonov, employee of the Photovoltaic Park in Criuleni.
Six economic agents from Criuleni followed his example and are ready to implement new green energy projects.
"Renewable energy is a future for our economic agents. I am primarily referring to the Association of Water Users, which directly consumes a lot of energy pumping water from the Dniester to irrigate the land. At the same time, the refrigerators that consumed a lot of energy, especially Coșernița, which has a capacity of 5.5 thousand, being the largest in Moldova, have already prepared the projects to install solar batteries, to harmonize the impact of prices and, at the same time, to the war that greatly affects the transmission of energy to Moldova", said Vitalie Onisciuc, the head of the Agricultural Directorate in Criuleni.
The financial resources accumulated from the commercialization of the energy produced by the Criuleni Photovoltaic Park supplement the budget of the District Council. Thus, the net income for 2022 was over two million lei.
