Chisinau Municipality: PAS and MAN each obtain two mayoral mandates in the suburbs, in the second round of voting
The Action and Solidarity Party and the National Alternative Movement each obtained two mayoral mandates in the suburbs of Chisinau, where the second round of voting took place, according to preliminary data presented by the Central Electoral Commission.
PAS candidates Stelian Manic and Viorica Beregoi won in Codru and Truseni, while MAN candidates Victor Slobozianu and Leonid Umaneț won in Cricova and Bubuieci.
According to the preliminary results presented by the Central Electoral Commission, the independent candidate Sergiu Cebotari was elected in Tohatin, the candidate of the DA Platform, Olga Caraman - in Grătiesti, the socialist Iuri Onofriiciuc won a new mandate as mayor in Vadul lui Voda. The representative of the Unity and Welfare Coalition, Eleonora Saran was elected in Durlesti.
