The Republic of Moldova will sign a loan agreement with the EIB for the repair of a railway segment

On Friday, December 15, a new Agreement will be signed between the Republic of Moldova and the European Investment Bank, said European Transport Commissioner Adina Vălean at a meeting with journalists from the Republic of Moldova.

Vălean said that it is about a loan worth 41.2 million euros, which will be supplemented with a grant of 12 million euros. The money will be directed to the development of internal transport. In particular, it is about the repair of a 128 km segment of railway in the North-South direction.
