The incident was recorded on Sunday, January 8 at Chisinau International Airport. The 39-year-old man presented himself as a passenger on the Yerevan - Chisinau route, selecting the green "nothing to declare" corridor. However, the customs workers checked his luggage and found the undeclared currency. The undeclared funds were seized, and the case was taken over for examination by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Customs Service.
