Drone attack on an apartment building in Odessa: The number of victims has increased to ten
The death toll from a drone attack on a nine-story apartment building in Odessa early Saturday has risen to ten. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, quoted by the BBC. "The body of another dead child has been found," the official said.
According to preliminary information, the child "is not even a year old," Kiper said. Ukraine's state emergency services confirmed the child was 8 months old. On Saturday morning, the Russian military launched a drone attack on the city of Odessa, which resulted in the partial destruction of a multi-story apartment building. Nine deaths were previously known, including two children - aged four months and three years.
The Russian side did not comment on the drone attack in the Odesa region.
Sunday was declared a day of mourning for the victims of the Russian attack in Odessa and in the region.
